Keep the car; sell the motor.

And it would be more than enough for your project.  You'll get decent
street performance, lighter weight and potentially a little more room
for batteries in your NX with an Impulse 8:

Note that the "Impulse 8" is nearly identical in dimensions and
capability to the Warp 8, the product it replaces.
