[ausev] Is there a way to search through prior posts?

I'm not sure I've defined a budget just yet. Still early in my
(un)reality phase :-)

I'm figuring I pay $3k or so a year on gas -- so lets say I want to
recoup that in 4-5 years.
Yes there will be a charge for electric -- but relative to gas seems
like it would be insignificant.

I was researching maybe something like a Porche Boxster as a donor vehicle.

Still trying to figure if ~$15k on top of a donor vehicle cost is
reasonable -- or if I would have to budget higher?
I'm not mechanically inclined -- so I would be eating labor as well.

~35miles round trip daily -- with once or twice a week ~15 miles additional.

Also trying to get a grasp for Li vs "conventional" lead-acid types.
Seems my range and driving habits
would be on the edge for basic lead acid. Got to figure hills up and
down 71 out to Bee Caves from
the Y chew up Watt Hours.

thanks for listening,

M
