We partake in events as they pop up... usually people will discuss
carpooling or how they will get to an event on the list.   I'm not
aware of any "special events" coming up, usually the fall is the high
season for that.

Austin EV does hold its own monthly meetings.   There is one this
Saturday that you should come to.   Check out the calendar:

Various people also hold open garages which are usually posted to the
calendar for people to come and work, or just see.  I see nothing
coming up at the moment.  Maybe Chris or Mark will post another open
garage soon.  One of these days, I plan to use a drive to and from
Mark's place to test my EVs range.   :-)   (He's the same distance
form my house as the airport is.)
