[ausev] General organization of digest & alternatives to BEV's

I quietly lurk in this group, watching the conversations through the  
daily digest of messages. I find most of it very informative. But it  
is difficult to follow the threads in the digest because most people  
send their comments attached to the whole msg. thread which is then  
forwarded in the digest. This means scrolling through long repeats in  
the digest and sometimes missing the next comment in the thread.  Is  
there any automatic way to organize the digest by thread rather than  
by chronology? or to strip the quoted material unless it is embedded  
in the reply itself?

I also agree with Ian that debunking other alternative energy  
solutions is valuable to our cause on occasion.

I particularly liked his take on Honda's Clarity system. It might be  
the Japanese are leery of batteries as they will create another off  
shore dependancy for them in the form of either batteries or raw  
materials for batteries.  Up until recently our own battery companies  
were hell bent on doing the same thing by building production plants  
in China.  I believe Valence woke up to this trap but A123 seems still  
on a China bound strategy for production.
