I don't know why World Class Exotics used an 11" motor but I guess if you're
doing a Porsche, you might want a lot of spunk.

As far as battery layout...

Just for fun, I took a few rough measurements from my car and estimated how
many 6v Trojan or US Batteries I could get in. The breakdown is:

Front: 9-12
Gas Tank and spare tire area: 9 Batteries
Area between Gas Tank area and firewall: 3 Batteries
    This is iffy as the batteries may be too tall. I'll have to remeasure or
find shorter batteries. This would also cover the AC evaporator smugglers
box.

Back Seat: 5-10
The only way to get close to 20-24 batteries is to remove the back seat and
load the area with batteries I estimate I could get 1 row of 5 batteries and
could possibly add another row.

Engine Compartment: 6
>From a picture of one of World Class Exotics, they show 6 batteries in the
engine compartment. 4 along one side of the motor and 2 on the other side.

I think fitting enough batteries is doable but the weight would be very
high.
