I have googled and found a number of mentions of people converting
Dodge Caravans to e-cars but I have not found a page that gives the
specifics. What I am looking for is how large of a motor should I use
in a Dodge Grand Caravan? If I follow the lead of the guy who
converted his 4x4 Jeep Cherokee will I be in the right ball park?
http://www.evalbum.com/589 The vehicle weight and aerodynamic drag
are probably the same. In addition to the weight of the Caravan I
plan to convert it into a mini-motorhome, possibly with the inclusion
of a fiberglass top to add 6-8" inches of drag, a small fridge,
microwave, a bed and a few other things. I am guessing that the top
will not add significantly to drag. Total weight will be be about 400
additional pounds but I will be removing at least the rear seat, if
not more.

If you have converted a Caravan (or Grand Caravan/Town & Country, etc)
please let me know what you used and what the results were.
