It will work fine, Claire. Don't give it another thought.

Hi All, a question for you. I am having a plug installed for my Ranger EV at my office so it can charge while I am working. The truck needs 220v/40 amp. The office has 208v. Will this cause any problems? If so, is there a way to work around this? I asked two electricians who gave me bids and they are not totally sure, saying that it depends on the needs of the charger. Any ideas or recommendations? Thanks Claire

As it usually goes, I don't think we'll *need* much help, though
everyone is encouraged to stop by and talk to people about what we do.
As it was last year, they're not handing out many Maker credentials
(just 2), so you'll need to buy a ticket to get in :-(
Not many people made it to the meeting last weekend, so I'll just recap
what I know.
The space is going to be in the "show barn" at the Travis County Expo
center, in roughly the same spot it was in last year. The ground in that
area is paved, but rough, somewhat uneven and dirty.
I'll have my PFC50 out there for anyone who wants a quick charge. I
haven't gotten a confirmation, but I believe the power situation will be
the same as last year as well -- 120V will be available, and 208V from
their 3-phase feed. 240V will probably not be available. Manzanita
chargers will be okay with the 208V.
