Hi all,

Im currently designing the motor to transmission bits for my ev. Plate is no problem, critical distance - got it.
But im having trouble.
The motor is an Advanced DC FB1-4001A , the flywheel is modular to the clutch so it can't be pulled apart.

My idea is to simply bolt a hub onto the back of the flywheel (after drilling and tapping) and hopefully the hub happens to have a bore that would accept the drive shaft from the motor.

My problem is i have no idea where to start looking for this kind of shaft hub coupler.I have found a number of companies on the web that have lovejoy connectors, taper locks, weld on ,bolt on hubs etc but their schematics don't give me any way to know for sure if i'd be picking the right component as per size etc..
Can you offer suggestions on places to go to find fittings or examples of people who have done what i would like to do?.

thanks for any advice :)

Roy
