I was, and will continue to be, using US8VGC batteries at $96/per

I got a quote on US8VGCHC batteries at $140/per battery:
http://www.usbattery.com/usb_us8vgchcxc_golf.html  But decided against
the high capacity batteries.

The HC batteries were 40% more expensive, for 7% more energy, at a
cost of increasing the weight of the car by 4%... It did not seem to
give me much gain (if any) for a high cost.
