Thanks for checking my numbers for me.

So, 1/2 C V^2 = 0.5 * 50 * (15)^2 = 25 * 225 = 5,625 watt-SECONDS.

Oh.  Seconds.  Not hours.  I was supposed to divide by 3600 seconds  
per hour.

Then there's 1/2Vnom.  Apparently, they don't count any energy below  
half the nominal voltage.  I wonder if that's a restriction imposed  
by the capacitor chemistry or a reasonability condition for the  
controller design?  It's not a huge biggie because I think about   
( 1^2 - (1/2)^2 ) = 3/4 of the energy is in the top half of the  
voltage range.

So,
    50F, 15V Capacitor = 1.2 wh
    200 Amp-hr Battery = 2400 wh

Battery wins 2000 times over.  No wonder I was euphoric.
