[ausev] Homemade battery meter?

On the eBay panel meters, I fried two before I realized that I needed an
isolated DC/DC to power the meter. I had it powered from my 12V supply,
which is isolated from the high voltage, except for the small leakage that
you get with flooded batteries. When I would hit the accelerator the meter
would go crazy, and after a few days it would die with a culprit burned part
on the back. Once I put the DC/DC in all was well. It actually matches quite
well with my volt meter.
