The T-1275 is 12V @ 150AH...

Granted the battery is 13"x7"x11" and weighs 82lbs. 13x of them would
be 1066lbs, which would still be lighter than the the 1170lbs of
batteries in my car. I'm not sure how much of your 2800lbs is
reserved for batteries.
I would not get a motor smaller than my 9" motor for a car as heavy as mine.
