The relatively heavy RAVolt has a 144 VDC with the Curtis controller and that tops out at 400 Amps. It's pretty easy to max the controller, but not (usually) a big deal in traffic. At highway speed, I'll pull 200 amps to maintain 65. If I pull a lot of power for too long, then the Curtis will get hot and current limit by using a lower pulse freq. Rob RAVolt.com Evalbum 995
