I was looking over the specs on the flyer and came across the "Shabbat
Controller" design mentioned at the bottom of the flyer.
It 'enables the religiously observant to use (the scooter) on Shabbat and
Holidays in accordance with Halachic ruling based on the principle of Kevod
Habiyut, human dignity.
*scratching head*. I have heard of a lot of different controllers, but never
one based on human dignity. Interesting design specs.

We are now the proud owners of a Breeze 4 Electric Scooter. Even though it
only goes 8mph top speed and has a range of 30 miles, it is still an
electric Vehicle, with a 24 volt Ffikim controller (Israeli company). It
has a headlight and turn signals as well as an electromagnetic braking
system that turns on the stop lights when activated.

Ok, it's really a mobility scooter that I can only go to the corner market
in, but it is a start. We really got it so Grandpa can go fishing and disc
golf with his grandson. It is the first Breeze to be sold in Texas and our
first EV (of hopefully many to come).

(I promised I wouldn't tinker with it, so all I can do is keep it charged
and clean)
