Hi Guys,
 
It was our idea to this type of Ride & Drive Rodeo.  I had been working with the city for 6 weeks to set this up and we were not there.  Well everything happens for a reason. We were to be there as a manufacturer.  But due to Ken, my partner, recovery from a motorcycle accident and the work we did yesterday setting up at ROT.  We were not able to attend.  This event was for the City departments mainly.  I am guessing the open notice email was for balance.  To inform interested citizens of their plans and to peak interest from the private business sector to evaluate the products for their own use.  
 
I am sure they are not trying to discourage anyone from attending this type of event but it was for the city to consider these units for possible purchase.  Not a public fair or show.

Electric Vehicle Showcase
The City of San Antonio Fleet Services Department is hosting a specialty 
vehicle showcase and would like your participation.
This electric vehicle showcase will be held from 9:00 - 11:-00 AM on 
Wednesday June 10, 2009 and is being conducted to help promote the use of 
electric vehicles in our area.
Learn how these vehicles function and take this opportunity to experience 
their operation.  Representatives from several different manufacturers will 
be here to review their products and will have several models available 
on-site.  You will be able to ask questions and learn how low speed vehicles 
may be legally operated on the street.
Please join our staff at 329 South Frio, San Antonio, TX 78207.  Our 
facility is located across the street from the UTSA downtown campus.

I will make a Plug in Series Hybrid Crew-Cab Pickup before Detroit does.
