There will be two meetings of interest tomorrow (Tuesday).There is
unfortunately a schedule overlap.
1. Pecan Street Project Public meeting
Attendees will be provided a project overview, followed by an invitation
to participate in breakout sessions encouraging discussion and
soliciting feedback about the project's technology, system design,
financial and economic development aspects.
Time: 4:00 - 7:30 Wednesday 6-23

2. IEEE Power & Energy Society monthly dinner meeting. ($12-$18)
Topic: Transportation Energy from the Grid - Is it Real?
Speaker: Joe Redfield, P.E., Manager, Advanced Vehicle Technology
Section, Southwestern Research Institute
Joe specializes in advanced vehicle propulsion system design and energy
systems engineering. At SwRI he leads a team of researchers involved in
the development, testing and hardware integration of electric, hybrid
and plug-in hybrid vehicles. He is part of the team at SwRI
investigating the integration of transportation energy and the electric
grid.
