Not all of us are getting multiple emails. I don't think anyone should
start panicking or fleeing from the list. Anyone who really wants out
should take the trouble to look at the footer of these EV-list posts, as
every one of them gives links to member controls. Predictably.
I might suggest that anyone who is having a problem with multiple emails
unsubscribe from the list and then re-subscribe themselves. I don't
know if that would fix their share of this odd problem, but it is worth
a shot. There's nothing like the old on/off switch trick.

Horrors! I think one will be hard-pressed as an under-the-hood EV
problem solver if one can't even troubleshoot email list problems
without howling for a rescue team.
As the promotional material for the email client software Thunderbird
says "take charge of your inbox."
