Y'all,

I highly encourage anyone who can make it to go meet Jerry Asher.  He's
very enthusiastic, and a genius, but also down-to-earth - a perfect fit for
the AustinEV crowd.  Also, once you know him, you'll be shocked how often
you see him on TV or in print.  Try to get a picture taken with PHEV3A (The
"Spirit of DC") - it will be famous one day.

I don't know if Joe Lado or Mike Harvey are touring with Jerry, but if
they are, seek them out and strike up a conversation - you'll be glad you
did!

On the agenda, we have Jerry Asher of the DC chapter of EAA who's been
traveling across the country in his plug-in converted Prius, to spread the
word about plug-in vehicles.  He's been blogging about it here:

He'll be in Austin for most of this week, and will be talking about his
car and his trip at the meeting. Let's show Jerry a friendly Austin
welcome, as he passes through on his way to Houston and the rest of the
US...
