[ausev] Generator idea.

Speaking of horseless carriages - I've been wanting to start with a "kit" Model T roadster pickup ( most often thought of as a "T-Bucket") and design a chassis that will hide about a dozen batts under the T's body.

Lacking cash to buy parts, I've only been brainstorming the design of the chassis.

Horseless carriage Part 2: The April issue of Street Rodder Magazine has an article about EV e-roadsters, specifically featuring cars from EVParts Inc. Not an in-depth article, but good enough to dispell the golf cart stereotype.

Sounds like you want to build an Electric Quadracycle, or an Electric
"Horseless Carriage".
I've been toying around with the idea of making one as a series hybrid as a
proof of concept.

I found this site a few months back.
http://www.szott.com/carriage/ec.htm with complete details.
Mr. Szott even mounted the alternator to an engine.

Go for it!
