[ausev] EV conversion future??

When I first discovered this forum it was mostly about EV conversion
concerns. The nuts and bolts, as it were.

Now it's about EV events and news from the auto industry. 

 

This starting me thinking that maybe, just maybe, interest in converting ICE
cars to electric is fading. If the big manufacturers star selling cheap,
reliable EVs, then what is the incentive to convert? 

There probably will always be a few who want a car unlike anything Detroit
makes, I suppose.
