Thanks for clearing that up.  From the story, which I caught over the 
air this morning, I got the impression that EVs might have to pay the 
Travis County annual emissions tests which cost about $30 bundled with 
the "safety" inspection.

Anyway, a great piece of publicity!  Most hard to come by in these days 
of low fuel prices.  I am continually amused at how EV interest is so 
closely correlated with fuel prices.  Truly, we are a nation of sheep.
