[ausev] Q: about water miser caps

Hi Folks,

Does anyone happen to know if the "water miser" battery caps fit into Trojan T-1275 batteries?   

The Northern Arizona Wind & Sun website has a note that says the caps don't fit:
"those with the plug-in 3-cap bars, such as the West Marine Sea Volt 
or the Interstate 12 volt group 27 marine",
which cap bars the Trojans have and are also marine type batteries.

I have a bit of an acid splash problem on the laterally mounted batteries, I guess due to speed bumps and the 29th St. roughness.  The fore and aft mounted ones don't seem to do that.  Looking for a practical solution.  Any useful suggestion would be well appreciated.

(I don't have the option of changing them to fore and aft orientation due to space limitations.)
