I don't have an answer to your question... but I am a happy user of
water miser caps on my 18x Interstate US8VGC batteries.

So... you could drop by, pop cap off of one of my batteries, and see
if it fits to your liking.  (I don't have extra, but you can test fit
mine.)   Shoot me an email with some times you are free, and I'll
reply with my address.  I should be home Sunday, Tue Evening, and Wed
evening.
