thing, in reality they are different. High currents and the induced
electromagnetic fields can cause strange things to happen that may be
difficult to troubleshoot and so on, but it's definitely been done
before. I remember running across one in my early EV research, it
certainly looked cool.<br>

Otmar has some Curtis controller schematics online... but<br>
realistically, with something as important as the controller, I prefer<br>
to buy one.<br>

You could just put a 100kw rated rheostat in the car to control the<br>
motor too. :-)<br>
