I'm going to have to express my opinion that gas prices probably were not affected by Obama getting elected - it was more likely due to the drop in global demand, due to the economy that has been destroyed by W.<div><br>

Note that it has been in decline that whole time, and there was no big change when Obama was elected. </div>

Someone mentioned all the car companies destroying all of their electric car programs within a month or so. Right after this happened the big three started making the biggest damn SUVs I have ever seen. The Hummer is the sorriest excuse for off roading I have ever seen. I hate the way the gas prices dropped because we were getting a
"democrat" in the house. Maybe they were scared that they would get
caught because someone new is coming into office. But Obama got more
support than any other runner in the passed. That scares the crap out
of me!!! Was it the gas companies that bought him out. Now that they
know that they can use Obama, they will kick the gas prices right back to
were they were. <br>
