For next month's meeting (Aug 8th) at REI downtown, I've started a set of slides for our "EV 101" talk to a public audience. I'm just gearing it toward why we think EVs are the way to go and what is out there today. More of a public awareness talk rather than how to do your own conversion.<br>

We'll update these slides as we go, but feel free to point me to specific photos you want included or suggest changes, etc.<br>

I just talked to Courtney Jeffries, the outreach coordinator for REI, and asked if we could hold one of our EV meetings in their parking lot at the downtown REI (7th & Lamar). They would be happy to have us and let us use their meeting room inside, if we need it (LCD projector & computer available). The idea being to help raise public awareness about EVs and to do a sort of show-and-tell to the public. Maybe the Saturday, August 8th EV club meeting?<br>
<br>Anyway, this is a possibility, so let me know if this would be ok with the group. Now that we have some of the stimulus money heading our way in terms of IRS tax credits, I'd like to see us keep this momentum and stay in the public eye.<br>
